Genesis 1:1-5 IAV In the beginning Elohim created the heaven and the earth. (2) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim moved upon the face of the waters. (3) And Elohim said, Let there be light: and there was light. (4) And Elohim saw the light, that it was good: and Elohim divided the light from the darkness. (5) And Elohim called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. 7. Yom HaShevi’i: The Seventh Day, God Rests (Bereshith 2)
Genesis 2:1-3 IAV Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. (2) And on the seventh day Elohim ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. (3) And Elohim blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which Elohim created and made.
