From the Hebrew Scriptures, including the Talmud we can learn that the Chosen People or Israel is eternal, so the bond with them is irreversible, unbreakable and eternal, once a Jew always a Jew. As a Jew following the Jewish rebbe Jeshua should not mean that one has to give up the Jewishness, even better being a follower of the sent one of God one can become even closer to God.
The apostle Paul has given all those who want to follow Jesus an exhortation, so that there should be no doubt how they have to behave and how they should all become united in the One Body of Christ.
After World War II the children which were placed in Catholic families often found no Jewish families to take care for them or to bring them up in Jewish traditions. Most of them even did not have the opportunity to learn Hebrew and got estranged from Jewish traditions. They married and got children who started to wonder about their ancestors. Several of them also wanted to go back to the Jewish culture and found stronger bounds with Jewish religion, whilst others wanted to keep their faith in the Messiah, but did not want to be counted under the trinitarian Christians.
Lots of Jews and many who have found Jeshua as the way to God have come afraid by the populist far-right politicians and extreme right agitators. Many do not want to come out in the public because of fear for bullying and terrorist actions against them. Many are also afraid that when they would unite with a group or would have a collective name that they would loose their characteristic property.
As partakers of a particular Body they should know that it is more important how we make others feel and would like to be open and susceptible to them.
We may see through a mirror and confronted with the world around us we out of love should be sharing what we came to know about Jeshua and the ransom he brought which should give the whole world hope for a peace that shall come with a Kingdom that shall not find an end.
