Troubles testing your faith and giving you patience and good prospects

The brother of Jeshua, James as a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ wrote a letter to the Jewish Christians scattered everywhere.

He was aware that life for Jews who wanted to follow Jeshua it was not always easy, but asked them to count it all joy when they would fall into divers temptations. He said them to be happy, for when the way is rough, the trying of their faith shall be working patience, which by this could have a chance to grow. (James 1:1-3)

As brethren and sisters believing that Jeshua is the Messiah we should not be afraid to show others what we believe and let our patience show itself perfectly in what we do.

So let it grow, and don’t try to squirm out of your problems. For when your patience is finally in full bloom, then you will be ready for anything, strong in character, full and complete. {James 1:4 TLB}

James asks us to be patient but not to forsake to do good works and if we are not sure about certain things, or lack wisdom, not to forget to ask of God, Who never shall abandon those that knock at the door and ask. He is willing to give to all men liberally, bountiful, and upbraid or resent not. (James 1:5)

We may not forget to ask the Elohim Hashem in faith, nothing wavering, believing and not doubting, being aware that He will tell us. (James 1:6)

Together we should strengthen each other and help every one to come to God and to live according God His Will. We should not be afraid not to live according to the wishes of man, who hold fast to many traditions connected with the heathen. Those who prefer such heathen festivals and heathen rites should not think to be rewarded for that by God.  For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord if his asking is not build on the right faith.

7-8 and every decision you then make will be uncertain, as you turn first this way and then that. If you don’t ask with faith, don’t expect the Lord to give you any solid answer. (James 1:7-8 TLB)

Therefore let us get to know what God wants us to do, asking Him, believing also that He is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask Him. He will not resent it.

As believers in God and His son we may be considered poor guys, but we who also may not be rich in this material world, may be glad to and pride that the Elohim Hashem Jehovah God has made us spiritually rich and will be respected so much more by the Most High, being great in His sight, even when we do not amount to much in this world. (James 1:9)

Along all sides we get tempted by people wanting to bring us to other ideas. Many  people shall try to convert us or to try to get us on the same line as those who follow the human instead of Biblical doctrines. Every person has the personal choice and responsibility to look for what God wants from him or her.

Happy is the man who doesn’t give in and does not wrong when he is tempted, for afterwards he will get as his reward the crown of life that God has promised those who love Him. {James 1:12 TLB}

Temptation is the pull of man’s own evil thoughts and wishes which lead to evil actions and afterwards to the death penalty from God. So we must be sure not to be misled. (James 1:15-16) Having patience should also not mean we should not do anything. No, we may not stand still or may not be silent.  We should let our voice sound in the darkness of this world and show others that Jeshua (Jesus) is the way to God.

All of us are offered new lives through the truth of the Elohim, the Creator of all light, His Word. But it is up to us now to form a family, joining hands as brothers and sisters in Christ, so that we can be considered to be children in His new family. (James 1:17-18)

So all that love God should get rid of all that is wrong in their life, both inside and outside, laying apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness. Looking at the man who went before us we should receive with meekness the engrafted word, the wonderful message we have received, which is able to save our souls as it takes hold of our hearts. (James 1:21)

Though nobody of us may forget that it is a message to obey, not just to listen to. We may not fool ourselves, thinking we are saved and as such do not have to do anything any more. When you only listen and do nothing, you are fooling yourselves. (James 1: 22, Luke 11:28; Romans 2:13) To belong to a strong family all members should help each other and should feel united, as being one.

In the knowledge that our life is depending on faith, we must check what for faith we want to have, in what or whom we do want to believe and what the path is what we want to walk and which race we want to run.
