Initially an ancient grain harvest festival, since biblical times the coming feast Shavuot has been commemorated as a celebration of the Israelites receiving the Torah on Mount Sinai.
Sages point out that the Torah was given on one day to one people, but the receiving takes place every day, and everywhere, across all generations. From Scriptures, we also learn how we should try to help others to bring insight into the scriptures and to bring them closer to the Elohim.
We are grateful to be one of the many sources for several of readers who come back day after day, hungry to learn more. Though we must confess we could use some more readers and would love to see also more readers and supporters on familiar websites that present the Work of the Most High.
Whether you are interested in history, spirituality, prayer, or text study, our yeshivah and the different Jeshuaist websites are here to give you and to all those who want to get to more know about the Elohim, whatever you need in your learning journey.
